What a hot one!!

Today was going to be a fun day of planting flowers in our investment property's newly constructed flower beds...but then I got the call.
"Hey, I need someone to fill in for my scheduled referees, can you do it?"
"Sure, what time?"
Well, at 1:00 p.m., in central Florida, I knew it was hot! It was wicked hot!!! At the beginning of the second half, standing at the mid line, I felt like the heat was radiating up from the ground, and there was no movement in the air. After leaving the soccer field, and running errands, I passed a bank sign that said at 4:47 p.m. the temp. was 102 F.
It was hot enough for me.

Tomorrow I head back to school. Where did the summer go?
