How you feelin'?????? Hot, Hot, Hot

Oh my, I really needed this to get my mind ready for the school year!!

Last night I was feeling pretty "hot". Hot as in angry. My MS has a friend who spends more time looking for an argument than listening. He just turned 17 and for all of the time I have known him, he has treated me as if he is my equal. He doesn't understand that I am more than twice his age, and I am not interested in what he thinks about the rules of our house.

The kid got mad when my husband wouldn't engage in conversation and told him over and over to go home, and then helped him get into his car. So, the kid decided to call the local authorities who were more than happy to let us know that they have a file with a list of things this boy has been doing. The mother of the boy decided to tell me that she knows what a "bad" kid my MS is and that her son was a wonderful influence on him (Hmm, does that mean it is a good influence is a 16 yr old kid who hot rods and snags your child from the bus, etc so they can cruise after being told that your child isn't allowed in the car with the "good influence"?)

Anyway, today is a new day, and that child has been informed by the powers that be that he is not to show up at our house again.

And I am hot because I forgot to hit the publish post button, I only hit the save button. grrrr...oh well, I am still going to keep working on August's theme.
